Community Builders - How It Works
Many of us would enjoy making a larger donation to our favourite charity, but not all of us feel we have the financial resources to do so. That's why the concept of deferred gifts is catching on. A deferred gift may be a life insurance policy, a charitable trust or a bequest by will. Although the gift is deferred, tax benefits for the donor can be immediate. And the gift provides a source of funding that The Foundation can use to make future grants to the community. Thus those who donate deferred gifts become "Community Builders."
Go to our contact us page to have a representative of The Foundation contact you about becoming a Community Builder.
"It's nice to get recognition for your contribution now, before you go, and to see some of the good the gift will do. Another advantage is that you get a charitable tax receipt on the premium you pay each year." - Ron and Muriel Bremner
