2013 PotashCorp Mayor’s Cultural Gala
It’s that time of year again! We are busy planning the 7th Annual PotashCorp Mayor’s Cultural Gala to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at TCU Place. In past years, Gala guests have been treated to an outstanding black tie event including fabulous food, exceptional entertainment and an amazing auction. This year will be no different!
Proceeds from the Gala benefit the Saskatoon Community Foundation. The Foundation’s vision is to make Saskatoon the best community in which to live. The citizens of this city provide support and direction to the Saskatoon Community Foundation. They contribute by creating legacies to help build endowments at the Foundation. This support allows the Foundation to provide strategic grant making and community leadership.
In its first six years, the PotashCorp Mayor’s Cultural Gala has raised over $2,000,000 (net) for Saskatoon. Because most of these proceeds become endowed funds, the annual investment income generated will benefit our citizens forever. In the past three years, the Saskatoon Community Foundation has provided over $4,000,000 in grants to local charities. These grants help to support the community in which you and your employees live and work. With your help we can make that community support stronger and more diverse.
Please consider the PotashCorp Mayor’s Cultural Gala in your philanthropic interests in 2013 and beyond, either as sponsors or guests. A sponsorship package and ticket order form is included for your review. This is the premier corporate gala event in Saskatoon. You’ll want to be there!
We promise a glamorous evening that showcases the exceptional artistic and cultural excellence of our vibrant city. This year’s theme: Go Big and Come Home will be celebrated in many ways. We are pleased to welcome home one of Saskatoon’s greatest athletes Catriona LeMay Doan as MC. The PotashCorp Mayor’s Cultural Gala sells out quickly so make sure to purchase your tickets or secure your sponsorship level soon.
Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community – see you on September 21, 2013!
