Trevor Forrest,
Executive Director (B. Comm.)

Trevor Forrest accepted the position of Executive Director in 2002. Prior to this, Trevor worked with Tourism Saskatoon, in the investment management business, in the retail business with Sears Head Office in Toronto, and as a farmer for nearly 40 years. His community experience is varied and includes Board responsibilities with Prairieland Park, Credit Union Place, Ronald McDonald House, Royal University Hospital Foundation, Nutana Curling Club, Leadership Saskatoon and Gardiner Dam Terminal Ltd. He served six years on the University of Saskatchewan Senate. He has also filled leadership roles for several special events in the community. In 2005 he received the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal.

Susan Skrypnyk,
Administration Manager

Susan Skrypnyk joined Saskatoon Community Foundation in December of 2009 as Administration Manager.  Susan has previously worked as an Office Manager of a medical clinic.  Through her previous work experience she has gained experience in organizing and running an office effectively.   Over the past twelve years, she has developed her communication skills through her involvement with Toastmasters International.  Susan has two sons, a daughter, and eight grandchildren.  Her hobbies are playing bridge, swimming and cooking.

Don Ewles, B.A., M.A.,
Grants and Communications Manager

Don joined the Foundation team in September of 2008. With a broad background in the not-for-profit sector, including experience working for a variety of charitable organizations, Don brings an awareness of the needs of our community. His expertise in communications begins with an M.A. in English, and includes experience teaching English at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Regina, as well as writing and editing a wide variety of materials for various community organizations, including a national newsletter for the Canadian Epilepsy Alliance. Don also serves on the board of the Saskatoon Society of Fundraising Executives.

Monica Pollard,
Donor Services Manager

Monica joined the team at the Foundation in April of 2010. Monica brings years of experience in building relationships through a background in business development and client liaison services from the private sector. Her background in marketing, communications and sales also brings an innovative approach to asset development at the Foundation. With a commitment to making Saskatoon a great place to live, Monica enjoys volunteering in her spare time for special events and her local community association.
